IRA Passbook Account
IRA (Individual Retirement Accounts) offers a tax-deferred means of investing for retirement years.

A minimum balance of $5 is required to open and maintain this account. At least $100 is required to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield.

Dividends are earned daily and paid monthly. Dividends are not earned for the month in which the account is closed.

Certificates of Deposit
Open a certificate of Deposit with $500. This type of investment pays a higher dividend rate than other savings types and includes a defined period of time between 3 to 48 months. The funds must remain on deposit to avoid an early withdrawal penalty.

Dividends on certificates are earned daily and compounded and paid quarterly.
